Child Abuse!!

So a topic I was assigned was child abuse, I had to find a photo and talk about it. so I googled "child abuse" and MILLIONS of photos were uploaded this photo stood out the most to me. This little girl was around the age of 2, I have a niece who is age 3 and I couldnt imagine what this little girl could have possibly done to be beaten so badly. How could anyone do this to there own flesh and blood, to a child they brought into this world or any child for that matter. It makes my heart break for what this little girl had to indure. :.(

Ms. Magazine- Presidential Campaign

As I was reading the article on the campaigns, I was noticing that there was a lot of talk about taking the birth control funds away. This is going towards a whole new level of stupidity! If they were to take away the funds for birth control, they are taking away the right from women to choose if they want to get pregnant or not. Not only that but birth control is used for more then just protecting yourself from pregnancy, it help those of us females who have an overbearing menstrual cycle some birth controls regulate a females cycle. I think that instead of walking into the furture, we are taking steps back into the past. As women we must fight against the "MAN" who is trying to take away our right which we fought for so long ago!!

Saddam Hussein's Regime

I was reading an article for one of my classes talking about the infamous Saddam Hussein's Regime, It was amazing to me what this man did. To be totally inhuman towards another human, a female, "the other half," I was in disbelief. The article was talking Hussein's trail and the women that testified against him. One female who remained annonymous stated ---"They forced me to take my clothes off. They kept my legs up. They handcuffed me and started beating me with cables ... It wasn't just one guard. It was five. This was happening to an Iraqi woman, the ones Saddam referred to as most glorious," Witness A told the court. She was 16 at the time and one of scores of villagers from Dujail who were rounded up after a failed assassination attempt during a visit by Saddam in 1982." Honestly how could anyone live with themselves atfer that. Personally my conscious wieghs heavy when ever I do something. How does He not have remorse, he certainly has no conscious!

Cops in Town!

The visit we had with the officer was pretty amazing. The things that they were talking about with all the crimes done on the web, and all of the kinds of people who commit them was SHOCKING! I have a little sister and a niece and just to think of all the predictors out make sick to my stomach. Makes me want to lock up and never let them out my sight. Like how could a person live with themselves harming young children or anyone for that matter. Cyber space is a very dangerous and disgusting place (in some cases).

Ted Technology

So the TED video I watched was dealing with people and technology today! Are we too attach to technology so much that it is becoming a problem? Or is technology simple the new Wave?
I personally believe that technology is taking over whether we like it or not. There is certainly pros & cons, but that's with everything in life.The question is what will become of those who chose to ignore this epidemic?
